About Us

Finz Grill was established in 1994 by two brothers Paul & Webb Geer. Natives to the area with a long standing family history the brothers inherited from their father and great grandfather, Paul Hamilton Geer Jr. “Sonny” & Paul Hamiltion Geer's establishment of Geer Oil Co. Which owned and operated Beaufort Gulf Docks in the late 70’s; among other establishments in the community. 

Beaufort Gulf Docks was originally a fuel service station and dock to the downtown community of Beaufort Waterfront. In the early 90’s Paul and Webb had the idea to convert the service station into a waterfront restaurant for casual dining and local seafood. For over 2 decades the restaurant is still owned and operated by the family. Welcoming guests from all over to experience the Outer Banks lifestyle.
